How is a “large” transaction decided?

The large-transaction alert is based on your own habits, not a fixed number: we compare each payment to your usual spending and notify you when one stands out as unusually big. Tiny amounts and your regular payments (rent, subscriptions and the like) never trigger it, and there is a daily limit so you are never spammed. While we are still learning your history we fall back to a simple rule — anything at or above about 1000 in your base currency. Separately, the “Largest expenses” blocks on the dashboard and in reports are not alerts — they simply list your biggest expenses by size (top 5 recently, top 50 in a report).
